‘Stem Cell Zoo’ To Save Endangered Species

With current technological advances, we are now depending on cells to save endangered species. . With only seven white rhinos left, and drill primates suffering from diabetes,  scientists have began experimenting with these animals using stem cells. The stem cells provide that hope that scientists are looking for since they can be turned into any type of cell in the body. Because of this, they are being used to not only cure diabetes in drill primates but also reproduce more white rhinos. Both species are in danger of going extinct therefore it is crucial to act immediately and effectively.
